The project was contracted by the Information Office of Chengdu, a city government agency with full responsibility of planning and implementing key city-level government-founded IT projects.  The Service Platform for Local Enterprises and Branded Products project objective was to build a powerful information exchange and management system for ~ 190,000 companies registered in the local tax zone and about 1.5 million branded products. GTSS has designed, implemented, and deployed the software system with main functional modules including (1) data collection module, (2) data publishing module, (3) supply chain service and management for local business community, and (4) data mining and decision support module. The system was built with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, asp .net, ajax.net, and MS SQL Server 2005, and implemented with C#, XML, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL Server Analysis Services.
